Paperwork, 10 min

History, current medication, what you are actually here for. Fill it in at home if you prefer.

Consultation, 15 min

A conversation, sitting up and dressed. What hurts, when, and what makes it worse.

Examination, 20 min

Range of motion, orthopaedic and neurological tests. Imaging only if there is a reason, and we will explain the reason.

Findings, 10 min

What we think is going on, in plain language, including if it is not something we should treat.

First adjustment

Same visit if appropriate. If it is not appropriate we will say so and you will not be charged for one.

A plan

Number of visits, over what period, and what it will cost in total. In writing.

The questions people are too polite to ask

Will it hurt?

Adjustments are usually not painful. Some soreness the next day is normal, like after exercise, and it passes.

Do I have to keep coming forever?

No. A plan has an end. If you are not measurably better by the review point, continuing is not the answer and we will tell you that.

Is it safe for children?

Paediatric technique is very light, more like a firm press than anything else. We see children from infancy.

What if you cannot help me?

Then we refer you and we say so early. Some things belong with a GP, a physiotherapist or imaging, and pretending otherwise wastes your money.

Insurance and payment

Most major plans accepted, and we will verify your benefits before the first visit rather than after.

Self pay: $85 first visit, $45 per adjustment. Family rates from the third member.
